My feeling is that there could be disruption of the food supply chain coming in from the continent. If the public see it coming there could be panic buying which would make the situation worse.

Does it really matter, who does what, why, and where, its up to the individual what they deem fit.

I suppose any subject is fit for trolls to have moan at.

How many people go to these food banks for free handouts and don't really need it.

We can always fall back on flying foodstuffs in by plane like they did on the siege of Berlin.

It’s all a wind up by certain groups with a vested interest. One is the harbingers of doom under the “project fear” banner and the second are those outlets who see an opportunity to shift (old?) stock.

See through the spin and do what we Brits do best - Keep Calm and Carry On.

Leave the histrionics to others.

You are correct Les. I reckon the moderators would not want to set a precedent and not yet spotted it.

Good morning Julien and Dawn. Mrs May says the supply of her Insulin comes in from Denmark and it is an issue she shares with diabetics who rely on the brand of Insulin she uses. The supply would have to be flown in as it’s life is time sensitive and could not be held up in the event of a port blockade.

In my humble opinion Clive, project fear is going to intensify from certain newspapers and news networks. Some people believe the spin they hear and read quoting the Guardian/The Sun or the BBC as setting the standards for truthful news, but we are the exception

Cool

We are fully aware of what is going on.

Our problem is as soon as we close a thread then someone will start up another thread and gradually drift round to the same old subject.

We get countless reports either posted or by pm about the issues discussed. If the OP requests the thread closed then we will do it. If a thread starts getting out of hand we will close it, and wait for the fallout.

The hardened members on here will generally ignore these posts, which is what I have normally done. And that’s what most of you should do, we then find that the subject will then fizzle out. Just don’t rise to the bait, just ignore.

However should ANY name calling start happening, then we will step in and close the threads. A friendly pm might be sent but we tend to leave it to people to apologise if needed.

This is correct but you can’t really enforce it 100%.

What if a three starts regarding cam belts then gets closed for another reason, technically we would not be allowed to discuss cambelts again on the forum!

The reason the original thread was closed was that it soon changed into a brexit conversation.
