Where did you find to fit it?
It's big, mine ended up at the back of the glovebox.

It's going behind the glovebox, near the fuses, beside the box for the Dashcam/usb/teperature display power supply.

I find the units fit nicely on the right hand side of the centre console above the ashtray, dead easy to get to should you wish.

Andy,
Is that where the drivers side cup holder should be?

Hi Steve

My temp gauge circuit board lives there.

Did you come up with the best sim card for our use?

I eventually decided on a ASDA mobile pay as you go.

I will just need to fit it to a phone an send a text every 180 days to keep it active.

Hi Mike,

No there is no apparent better sim, just personal preference.

There should be no need to remove the sim every 180 days, or whatever your chosen sim providers time period is. The box has a feature whereby it will RESPOND, send a txt to a specified number every time it is activated. So you just need to activate it every 180 days. This could be achieved by just activating one or the relays for a single second. eg RS101

I should actually read the instructions lol.

I chose the asda sim because it only needs a pound on it.

Just pulling this to the top for a bit, and an update.
For anyone who use the ASDA sim in their GSM, it may not work anymore!!!

ASDA have switched from EE to Vodafone from September, so your old sim will not work. You can get a new one for free & they will swap over any credit on the old sim.

NOTE: they will also port your old number over aswell. I didn't realise this, so created a new contact in my phone, which stopped working after a short while and has caused me a few days (on/off) trying to figure out what the problem was.
Now sorted
