We get those webs in our forest and they are beautiful, fascinating to see, I leave them alone.

You won’t know this, but I was bitten on my balls by a red backed button spider (necrotising poison) whilst driving down a mountain road at night in South Africa. The pain was excruciating and that with the treatment lasted 3 months.

On that occasion, I had stop the car and go off road, pull my trousers down. Unfortunately in anger, I squashed and threw the spider into the bushes.

My family were highly amused at what happened.

These days, I am more respectful towards all spiders, I add ...... this applies also to snakes and predators.

Just remember no spider that is native to U.K. is poisonous to humans. They are all poisonous of course but not to us. Palm of your hand or a rolled up newspaper works a treat!
Now Red Backs, Black Widow's, Funnel Webs, White Tail Spider and Wolf Spiders on the other hand.....
