G'day - as our antipodean cousins would say. Yet anther bright, sunny day - but that pesky wind off the North Sea has returned to chill the bones.
Time to renew my Club subscription - a small price to pay for what I get out of the various forums

Done it - £10 paid.

Hi Phil,

As promised this is the Clock & Barometer we have bought .....

A shiny new bit of bling for the inside.

I'll take a proper photo of it when I'm back at the boat and have installed it.

Bling for Lady Emma by Jeff Cranwell, on Flickr

I just realised that I was going to update you on the cat rescue and totally forgot

To cut a long story short on here.......We are no longer going after over 20 years of doing so.
I will type out an explanation of what has happened and post it on here when I can put down in words what has happened. It's still a rather raw subject and both Ros and I are very upset about it.

Just be careful where you drill the screw holes for them

That's sad.

Oh yes. Poppy hates them and chases them every opportunity she gets. Never come remotely close to catching one.

Stupid Boy

Wasn't planning on mounting it on the floor

Anyhow, if you notice, barometer is set to ' VERY DRY' so that means no more rain in Norfolk once it's installed

Done my good deed for the day. Silly wee Great T1t managed to get itself into the kitchen, not sure how, door was barely open. Caught and released it.

Enjoying a coffee and huge chocolate chip cookie. Ging went into the M&S branch in the hospital when she went to work last night, looking at the cookies and pastries and the assistant said help yourself, I'm about to put what's left in a bag and chuck it! Arrived home this morning with a bag full of chocolate chip cookies and Danish pastries

Morning all, tried to sleep as long as possible seeing as it’s night shift duty tonight, woke up to a bacon sandwich which is always a good start to the day.
