Been for a cracking walk. Drove to Cremyll and walked past the WW11 fuel tanks then back into the grounds of Mount Edgecumbe. Had a wander as far as the observation deck overlooking Plymouth Sound. Then back through the woods to the car park. Walked 4.88 miles. That’s pretty good for me as most of the walk is on uneven ground and up some steep stairs.
Tired now.

Been a mixture of cloud and sunshine today.
The mercury hit the dizzy heights of 18c Spanish Grand Prix all over, now back to Thruxton and the BTCC.....

I'm helping out on the GWR in a HST class 43 whilst those Hitachi trains are out of service Swansea to London Paddington in Winter fog.

Naff day here. Warmer than it has been but a lot of heavy showers.
Jeff, do you ever watch the Formula E? They have some amazing camera shots, the camera is inside the driver's helmet, within the protective padding so you see what the driver is seeing. |

Evening all been a grand day weather wise. Been to see mum in hospital for the last time hoday; next time I see her it will be in the care home She hasnt changed atcsll since being re admitted on 22nd April so I know I have done the right thing in finding a care placement for her. I have never used the words care home to her as she always ssid she didnt want to go into a home when she was still alert; but I have no choice she can't be left ho fend gor herself any more. It would be like leaving a baby to feed itself and get into and out of bed and change its own nappy. She just can't think for herself any longer.

No one wants to go in a home Richard, you have made the right choice for your Mum and your family, you deserve a bit of respite or you will suffer long term.
Your Mum will be getting 24/7 care, don't dwell on the decision mate, its the right one.
