Cool

Morning everyone.

We have sunshine after the rain.

Off up to Matt’s today with the Bear, after we get a loan out for fuel.

Morning all,

After the glorious sunny and warm day (sat indoors watching motorsport) that was yesterday, it rained steadily throughout the night !
This morning the sun is out again though

Got my second Covid-19 vaccination this afternoon to look forward to.

Morning all, nice weather this morning, but struggling with my mental health again stressing over how mum will settle in her new surroundings.I know it’s wrong but I feel like I have dumped her especially when I can’t even see the room she will be in and only see her once a week.

Morning all from a sunny then showery Midlands.

Home safely after our trip up North.

Decent run home except for the usual, rather odd, antics of other drivers. . The "best" one being a Fiesta in Lane 3.....Where they were all alone 'cus everyone else was zipping along happily at 70 in Lane 1 while Lane 2 was empty .

Good catch up with Rich. Lots of fuss for Quizzie and a nice chat.

You've absolutely done the right thing Rich. What's happened is tough to cope with and like Stevestrat says living with someone with dementia is dreadful for both parties.

Our Picnic at Rainton Meadows nature reserve was warm and dry . We were a bit delayed as Anthony's BMW had developed a sticking rear caliper. A guess at gunged up slider pins and the application of some spray oil pending a strip down, clean and re grease has sorted it for now. Not ideal but at least he's still mobile. His 2010 320d calipers look remarkably similar to ours and the pins take a 7mm allen key .

Packing up the instrument cluster for its trip off to Rick to have a new IPK fitted. It'll be nice to be able to see clear info when she comes back.

Take care all.

PS Rich - The anniversary cake went down very well - thanks

She's in the best place Rich, no need to feel guilty or that you have dumped her. Believe me trying to look after her yourself would be even more upsetting.

Warmer today but a bit grey and cloudy, supposed to be showers all day.
