2nd Sherwood Forest Meet Sunday 12th July

Hi everyone. Following last year's massive success, I'm pleased to be able to invite you to the 2nd Sherwood Forest MGRover meet.
UPDATE... THE MEET STARTS AT 9.30 AM. THE POST CODE IS NG21 9HN. A cracking day was had by all with over 50 stunning cars attending. And if the weather is kind, we are expecting a even better meet this year!
This will be a brilliant chance to be able to meet people face to face that otherwise you have only spoken to online through forums or Facebook pages.
The meet is open to all things MGRover, early and later, and even new examples.
Me and lisa have met with the head ranger again, and he is very pleased we have decided to use Sherwood as a meeting venue again.
As the meet is in season there will be a £3 charge for each car, which I'm sure you agree is a small price to pay.
I'm also pleased to announce that Phil t4 will be in attendance, so you can have a health check or even the 160bhp upgrade performed on the day.
Also, Mark From Z&F tuning will also be there, performing remaps on the 1.8s and both will be on hand to offer any advice.
Also, Steve pountney and Retro (MG) lifestyle has been contacted and assures me that he will be bringing the SV all being well!
Like I have mentioned, there will be a wide range of different Mgrovers there, so a fun and varied day is sure to be had.
There are a number of Bed and breakfasts in the area as well as a Travelodge about 10 miles away from the forest, for all those travelling long distance or wanting to make a weekend of it.

All well behaved dogs are welcome, as long as mess is picked up after.
And to be able to continue this meet year after year, all we ask is that we all leave the park as we find it, any rubbish is picked up etc.

I will be posting further details such as the exact area we will be in, when I get a better idea of numbers. What I do know is at least 50 cars are coming and the event has only been advertised a day!
There is a cafe and gift shops just a short walk over the road, plus some amusements and rides for the little ones. Also for those wanting to make a real day of it, there is the lovely walk around the forest, up to the famous major oak.
