Default £2 coin.

In my change today I found a strange £2 coin with Charles Dickens on it, I Googled and saw they were going for £1000 or more, unbelievable. Has anyone ever sold one of these before?. Thank, John.

the coins you have seen are called "mint errors" ie when they where minted imperfections happened the dies they used began to breakdown and created slight differences in the £2 coin

£1000 for a £2 Coin ?

I'm trying to do the maths to get an idea how you'd value your Car

Slap it on Ebay for £5,000 you never know, some dip-stick might buy it.
