Default mg zt 190 rear calipers

Hi all.

Need to replace the zt 190 rear calipers and carriers.
Do not want to go down the line of buy cheap replace twice.
so any ideas .

Default mg zt 190 rear calipers

I stripped the old ones, had them vapour blasted then painted to match the car (firefrost red) using standard base coat and two pack clear. Then I replaced all the seals, pins and pistons with a kit from Big Red. After two years they still look as good as when they were fitted, no problems with the performance and the paint hasn't been affected by heat or brake dust. I wish had done the spring too looking at the picture.

Default mg zt 190 rear calipers

mine has just failed its mot on the rear. have new discs and shoes.
mot is saying that the brakes are grabbing badly.
so was going to replace the calipers and carriers .
but if you look about there are loads around to buy.
dont want to buy cheap and nasty and have to replace again next year.
so was hopeing someone had got a new set that have been ok.
