Comet radio fitting

Hi everyone. Help I have bought the spice tourer and thought to remove the JVC head unit that is in the car all I would have to do would be unplug the jvc unit and plug in the Android unit.
This raises many questions does the car having a Harmon k amp affect the config of the head unit?
Is this new unit producing an output ?
The wiring that is in the car has more bits bobs joins and splices than I have ever seen.
Anybody with any thoughts please.
I like the look of Sean’s unit, and it has been gathering dust on the shelf for two years. Thought it would be nice in the Spice Tourer.
When I fit the unit and plug it in there is no noise.
Please guys suggestions.
