Default Uncomfortable vibrations

On an 05 2.0 cdti estate.... is through the pedals, drivers seat maybe pass one too, slightly through the steering wheel. It's just not pleasant to drive. Is it maybe engine mounts?

It's the same when when putting it in drive or reverse there's a bad shudder/ clunk.

I get out with horrible tingling especially in my feet and legs, not driving it unless necessary.

Sounds very much like the bottom mount! Very common and cheap easy fix. Out of the 4 I've owned its gone on 3 of them!

Thanks is that engine or g/box one or does it do both. What I forgot to say, when I turn the engine off there's also a hell of a shudder, is that the same one or a different one.

It's referred to as the lower engine mount. The diesel needs a good quality mount or it won't last too long. The best recommendation is to get one of these: https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/collections/...nuine-mg-rover

The lower mount on my CDT failed within 6 days of the car being supplied brand new. It was obviously faulty.

Caused terrible vibrations through my feet.

Thanks for the link but it's sold out plus no price. I saw then on the bay for the 20 give or take but no mention of a 2 yr warranty but then that'll only be if a garage fits them not yourself.

Be wary of cheap links.

I dont believe the warranty of DMGRS links are garage fit dependant.

Yes, but it also says click here for alternative, which gives: https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/collections/...g-zt-kkh101383
