Sounds interesting; please could you tell me how to remove the IPK and whether it's OK to drive the car without it while it's being de-lined.

Look up under the clocks & you'll see 2 screws, remove these, then remove the black cover where you'll see another screw, remove this & pull out the IPK & unplug. Don't think it's advisable to drive without it, not sure

Excuse my ignorance - does the IPK refer to the whole instrument cluster, or just the small screen with (in my case) lots of lines on it?

IPK, Instrument Pack, it's the whole clock unit, delining is on the small information screen. HTH's

Hi Mike, As Suzublu said above, that's how you remove it

Wouldn't advise driving it without the instrument cluster fitted, you'd be in big trouble if you're pulled over.

I see you're not too far from me (on the other side of the M25, if you fancy it, you could pop down to mine and I'll repair it whilst you wait I'm about 20mins down the a13 from the lakeside shopping centre near the QEII bridge
