Soon I'll find repose

Morning, I had to check today's date, make sure it wasn't April 1st. Piece on Sky News that scientists reckon fish have regional accents and may not be able to understand those from another area . . . .

On another point, has anybody tried that new glue advertised on telly, the one that is fixed by UV light?

How do you try and help someone who needs it, but won't accept it, then whinges about their plight. RUDE WORD HELL!!! I am not well myself, and yet trying to make his life easier, makes my life harder, how my mother managed 35 years before she quit the marriage,is beyond me.
Tell you all about it on Saturday. I'm off to bed now, as I only had about 3 hours sleep tops last night.
It is not uncommon for the elderly to refuse help, particularly from those closest and not uncommon for those suffering from the unforgiving Alzheimer's Disease. One of the signs is a change of a persons personality from mild manneredness to the demonic with the foulest of thoughts and bad language with little or no insight. I am not saying your Dad has this illness as I have never met him, just outlining the conditions when help is sometimes refused. Only a suggestion Richard, has his GP referred him to social services for a home care package or asked a CPN to visit to carry out a mental state assessment, gain his cooperation in accepting help and possibly arrange a respite break for him to stay in a care home.

I send you our good wishes and sincerely hope that you manage to get down to Clacton-On-Sea at the weekend. A shame I won't be joining you.
