Soon I'll find repose

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Well things seem to be moving again & I think you were right Phil about telephoning them the other day with my concerns over how long it's taking to get the radio beam therapy going.

I've had a phone call today from Christies oncology dept telling me an appointment has been made for the 15th December for the initial radio beam treatment at Christies Salford. Still got the urology appointment on the 12th December for the catheter & camera into my bladder, Christies Salford said they can work around that if the catheter needs to stay in.

On a different note the sausage rolls are bootiful. I shall have a bottle of apple juice to celebrate even if it means I'm on the lavy all night

Well Ian, that is great news your treatment is starting next week and you will be closer to an answer about your bladder, a busy week for you.

Your an amazing cook, so skilled and creative. Do keep posting those photos!

By coincidence the NHS surgeon rang me this afternoon to discuss the email I sent him at the weekend when I asked him some questions about the aneurysm inside the right knee.

I asked at what size is the aneurysm repaired and was there any clots seen inside of it. He gave me thorough and sensible answers.

Basically if I remain symptom free, I can be scanned again in 6 months. If I start to get symptoms or experience pain before then and the aneurysm is about 2.5cm, he will operate. He has left it open for me to contact him.

I backed up our call with a summary of what was agreed to and emailed it back to him.

I felt it was a good phone call, now I can put all of this about the knee aneurysm to one side for the next 6 months. Twice he rang me today, the first time I missed his call. Thank goodness he got through second time

Morning all, Brr! perishing out there, Went to get two trays of seedlings out of one of the greenhouses & couldn't open the door, Iced shut. Time to fire up those heat pads to put the trays on. -3C showing on the thermometer at the side of the door.
Gas fire on & hot water bottle on my chair this morning.

Yes thankfully things are happening after what seems a long time. Great news about the aneurysm in your right knee, Fingers crossed there's no need for more surgery.
Thank you about the cooking, I must take after Dad regards the cooking, He was a good cook.
My sister came round yesterday to ask me to have a word with her friends partner about prostate problems as he wont go to see his doctor. She said he's been experiencing the exact same problems as me & is scared & embarrassed about going to get it sorted.
