Yes, they should do the job nicely.

i've spent a pleasant* afternoon sat on the side of the M18 today.

the gear change which hasn't been all that great all week has gotten worse and worse today on the way home until i had no gears at all.

the rac came and popped some fluid into the master cylinder and normal service was then briefly restored.

a couple of miles further on though it was just as hopeless as before so i have managed to drive from around doncaster to malton in 4th gear, i didn't have any others to choose from!

the master cylinder was damp though so i guess i now need one of those.

oh and i got a puncture this morning and had to put the dustpan lid wheel on in a service station car park, joy!

i should have stayed in bed.....

Came home from work and decided it was time to fit some stainless steel bolts to the slam panel. Bought a kit from DMGRS a while back, found I really could do with some more for the bonnet catch, aircon pipe and fuse box etc.

In to the stores I went, and low and behold I could have raided my own stash of stainless M6 bolts. Longing to have the workshop setup to make these little things easier however.

Replaced my unions with 15 inch comets and new Dunlop blue response tyres today. Made a big difference to the ride quality of my tourer.

SFS silicon intercooler hose fitted today. The oem only fitted 18k miles was already starting to 'balloon' at the intercooler end.

The forked alloy wheels are really difficult to keep clean, I found this when I had my 75. The grid spokes on my ZT-T are a lot easier to keep clean.

Yesterday on the saloon:
Bumper off, slam panel off, headlights off.
Replaced cooling fan with the Revotec after attacking the cowling with hacksaw and figuring out what goes to what wires.
Replaced intercooler pipe and elbow with modded 3 viton o-rings.
Replaced with polished up headlights with Phillips night vision bulbs and LED sidelights
Got a better fit of bumper to wing (it had been pushed in from previous ding)
Trying to get a better fit was a pain but was OK in the end, another GMN gold wing in the pipeline.
I did not do all this work, my friend Steve (Steveo) spent a good 6 (six) hours of his own time to help me out, what a great friend and club member he is, many many thanks Steve, I saw you struggle at certein points but you got there in the end.
If anyone is planning to replace their fan with the revotec, study the paperwork that comes with it and although seems straight forward once it`s done it can seem a little confusing the first time you have ever done one.

Took the rear bumper off the Club today and fitted the reversing sensors into the bumper, hooked up ECU and hey presto......all go!
I had previously fitted the speaker to the back parcel shelf when I installed the rear sunblind.
Many thanks for the parts I obtained from Tom (Holland314) and Mike (flying_pig).
I now also have a spare set of sensors and wiring loom for the saloon too, though the sensors and holders will need to be painted as they are a sky blue colour, and my Club is Arden Green!
Next job is removing and unblocking the heater matrix, passenger side blows cold, and yesterday it was -4 degrees over night!
