Drivers side Drive Shaft
Will be changing over the drive shaft this week as the current one has blown and making that great grinding noise when turning.
My question is this Is it straight forward to do or is there anything I need to do/look out for?

Make sure you have a big enough breaker bar to undo the nut on the end of the drive shaft.

Is there anything else, or is it just unbolt, keep straight when removing/refitting on the box end or is there a bit more to it?

No. Not if you are prepared to jack up quite high one side of the car. This will also make it easier to work on. the box only holds 3 litres so most of the oil will be away from the hole.
Might drip a small amount but if you are ready for a quick change over it won't be much. |

Yes, otherwise it will end up on the floor.
