getting discs out of 6 cd changer cassette

forgot to take discs out of cassette in boot before i fitted dd head unit, is there a way to get them out without re fitting the old head unit to get power to eject them.

Sorry cant help ,but I did the same thing but just relised asI started to disconnect old radio so was a bit luckier than you.

I'm fairly sure you need power to eject the cartridge, but I'm sure that someone with more technical knowledge will be along shortly!

take the outer cover off and you will see cogs i had to do it to mine when it jammed if theres a cd in just turn the cog for the cd tray until the cd goes back into the cartridge, i think when it clicks there is a another cog you need to turn to eject the cartridge. Cant remembr as i done it last year.

If you can wait fetch the changer to the next metro centre meet i'm sure someone will plug it into there car for you

if i do not get the tv also installed do you think anyone there will be able to help with the wires etc, also its in the boot the cassette with the cds in so will be coming with me if it likes it or not

Well all I can say is its worth coming along to the meet as theres been many a problem solved at the meets so its worth a try,
