Default FS: Non working FBH

Got a replacement FBH today, fitted it and it works fine. So anyone want to buy my non working one?

Symptoms as follows:

1. Earth pin 3 and blower fires up.
2. Water pump kicks in and circulates coolant.
3. Fuel solenoid never kicks in.
4. 9v ish appears at fuel solenoid, but no current, ie not enough to power a light bulb.
5. Unit powers down after a while.
6. On its own, unit tries to fire up when engine is running and temp below 5'c but then repeats the above.

No idea whats up, not had it apart, just replaced it.

Its the early generation (I can get the serial if needed).

offers: nikthegeek -at- blueyonder.co.uk

otherwise, ebay...

collect from Wigan/Warrington or arrange postage.

Nick

Granted it's a little difficult selling off a non-working unit but we always ask for members to post asking prices for items for sale. Thanks.

Sorry, I said "offers" coz I've no idea how much a working one would be worth, never mind a non-working one!!

Anyway, its gone. So please feel free to delete the thread if you wish, or just leave...

No problems! Good to hear you've sold it on.
