Default Now Taking Orders: 2nd Batch of New IPK LCD Screens

2ND BATCH OF BRAND NEW IMPROVED REPLACEMENT IPK LCD SCREENS NOW OPEN. ORDER DEADLINE WEDNESDAY 31st MARCH. ARRIVING IN APRIL FOR FITTING.

PRICE £140 SUPPLIED AND FITTED WITH 12 MONTH WARRANTY WITH FACTORY. OR £95 SUPPLIED IF YOU’D LIKE TO ARRANGE YOUR OWN FITTING.

Some of you may already be aware that last year I was finally able to successfully have brand new replacement IPK LCD screens re-manufactured after them being no longer available for a couple years. These new remanufactured screens are far better quality than the previous versions as explained below and are the best long term repair option for the IPK screens.

See my previous thread here from last year: https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...d.php?t=306449

NEW IMPROVED DESIGN!
The common problem with lines appearing on the old IPK screens is due to the chip bonding process used on the old screens called Tape Automated Bonding which isn’t a processed widely used anymore due to the solder integrity as we have found on our cars causing lines to appear on the screens. The new re-manufactured screens use a far more reliable design using flexible printer cable material and solid secure copper soldered connections. I’ve installed over 50 of the screens from the first batch WITH NOT ONE SINGLE FAILURE.

PRICE:
These new IPK LCD screens are £140 supplied and fitted. At this price I’ve agreed a 12 month warranty period with the factory as well.

If you’d like the screen supplied only and will be arranging your own fitting the price is £95 for the screen supplied + shipping.

FITTING:
I highly recommend sending in your instrument cluster to have the screen fitted, as it is not an easy DIY fit (DIY fitting isn’t recommended unless you are very competent with soldering and have the de-soldering and soldering tools requires). The micro connections on the LCD screen require soldering to the board, and if not done correctly the screen will not work. If a contact is broken during the fitting process the screen fails and is no longer useable.

Once the screen you’ve ordered is here, you can either book in to bring your 75/ZT to me to have the screen fitted (once the lockdown restrictions are lifted), or you can send the cluster to me via post. Return postage for the postal option is £11.15 special delivery via Royal Mail in the UK.

I accept clusters worldwide for repairs/screen replacements so if you require a return postage quote for outside of the UK let me know.

ORDERING:
If you would like to order one or more screens, let me know below and I will send you the order and payment details via PM.

The deadline for ordering to secure 1 or more screens is Wednesday 31st March, and the screens will be here with me ready for fitting in mid/late April. Once the screens are here I will be contacting everyone to arrange slots for fittings.

As above, price is £140 supplied and fitted or £95 supplied only + shipping.
