On doing some more research is there a green.grey wire in the loom. Not sure but it maybe that one unless someone knows what it does. I will take another look through the threads as I am sure it is mentioned somewhere which pin number in the BMW plug that the pink wire should be connected to. Edd

On doing some more research I want to know which wire I have to connect the head unit to in the loom that controls the speed function. That is the sound gets louder when you go faster to compensate for road, traffic and car noise.
At the moment I have to keep putting the volume up when I go faster and the put it down again when I slow down. I am led to believe that the green/grey wire in the loom has to be connected to which wire in the head unit? Anybody got any ideas? Edd

Hello,
I've got the same horizontal line in my rear reverse picture. Sometimes it clears itself. Then reappears. Did the previous member manage to fix his?? Maybe its the connections?? Paul |

Has anybody fitted a wireless camera to a tourer yet?
I have my head unit + camera on order from Sean ( anybody would think I was a bit excited..... ) and am trying to plan the fitting as best I can in advance.... If not - I guess it will be time to break out the camera and post a how-to |

Great How-to! When I last looked into this, this particular camera wasn't available. I think that it is quite a neat solution, but I agree, yes, it does dim the number plate illumination a little. Is this a real problem though?
Where did this particular camera/wireless combination come from? I've now seen the camera - not sure it's wireless though? Hmm, this is now on my to-do list for my tourer. Along with a rear view camera for when the boot is full of camping stuff! |

I 've just fitted a wireless camera to my saloon but i chose to fit the camera almost central beneath the rear bumber and it works fine, i occasionally get those lines you talked about but they clear in a few seconds.
