No, they don't need programming. It's a flip key case, your internals of your original fob goes inside.

Guys, I have just got mine and it works great.
My recommendation is BEFORE ordering find a key cutter in your area (someone who can cut the Rover keys)- its not that easy and you may well like me have had to travel to get there.

Now, compare this with the in my opinion 'BEST ALTERNATIVE'. Ask mischief to get it done for you. If you ask nicely then the electronics may also be swapped over too.
What you get is a smooth and quick service, the guy who cuts the keys makes the machinery for cutting these and so is an 'expert', so why take the risk at others who just may have a problem?

So take the easy way!

Thanks to Bobby for making these available and to mischief (John) for an exceptional service.

I have loads of button pieces guys if anyone needs any spares. They don't include the logo and I also have the membrane that includes the round button.

Also have a few of the valeo stickers for the back of the fobs.

Anyone need any of the spares?

Default flip key working well...

This works very well. The spring/flip seems to sturdy. Finshed off well with the logos even down to the valeo one o the back... keycutting service from mischief also spot on and VERY prompt! Awesome guys!

Received my flip key, very impressed! Internals all swaped over and it works a dream, that's after I managed to pre tension the spring to get the blade to retract again! It may be in the thread somewhere but a tip is to 'bodge' tape the blade to the housing of the flob before you remove the screws that holds it all in place and it does not fly apart!

Do you know when you're going to get the old Rover logos in stock?

Thanks.
