Headlight rechroming
This is actually for my MG maestro but someone on here may know.
Anyone know of a company that rechromes headlight reflectors preferably in Norfolk? When I stored my maestro nine years ago you could pick up NOS headlights reasonably easy and cheap but these seem to have dried up and as the lights are looking slightly dull I thought as part of the rebuild I'd get them done |

Standard chrome in Coventry or quality chrome in Hull.

I don't know if plastic chrome depositing is different from chrome plating on metal parts, but I'd ask anyone who does chrome electroplating if they handle plastics. I believe plastics can be electroplated, but a lot is done by high vacuum vapour deposition which is a completely different process.

Is your maestro on big or little headlights?
The big ones I believe are the same as the Leyland Roadrunner & also the earlier Daf FA 45, the later facelifted 45 from about 98 on iirc had different headlights |
