Default Austin Garages at Burton on Trent

Does anyone know if these guys are away/on holiday or whatever?
I tried to ring last week and got an answerphone so left a message.
Tried agaian this week - same again and still haven't heard back from them....

I think this is an issue with them - I tried once for a week, got the answerphone, no reply to my message, so I e-mailed. By the time they got back I had found someone else. I've heard they're brilliant, but there quote was double what you could get the job done for by traders on here.

I find them really good, but use emails.
Normally they are quick to respond, but Nick is usually working on the cars and that only leaves Jean to do everything else. Maybe Jean is not well at the moment? I would email them if I was you

They might be closed for a short break or holiday. I was there only a couple of months ago to have a small job done and made the arrangements without any trouble by e-mail. Nick Bonthrone is incredibly knowledgeable about our cars and his work is excellent. His hourly charge out rate is £50.00 (or was in February). On the two occasions I've visited there were at least half a dozen 75's and ZT's outside awaiting attention, plus a collection of other MG/Rover/BL models.
