Default Radio Suggestions ?

My original Rover CD radio is starting to play up since wifey tried to put another CD in before ejecting the first one! Any suggestions for a more modern one (not android etc., as we're not too electeccy!) or if anyone has one to sell? I would like to be able to use the steering wheel controls if poss as :-

I have 2 radios about to go up for sale. One original fit from a 2005 conn se, and one similar but with the drop down front.

Currently in the loft but I will get them down and check details.

Working order when I removed, and CD hardly ever used as I had a Parrot with MP3 player installed as well.

Any use to you?

Mike

It depends what you want.
Do you play CDs, do you have music on USB sticks or SD cards?
Do you want DAB radio?
Are you an audiophile who demands top quality reproduction?
Would you like a big screen sat nav?
You can pick up a perfectly adequate non-mech (that's what they call the ones without CD players) on ebay or Amazon from as little as £30, or you can get a name brand for several hundred or get a touch screen android based one. There's a lot of choice.

The original fit should be a straight swap for the one that I have (Mine's a 2005 Conn SE too) so I may be interested in that one if "she" doesn't talk me into something more modern!

Had my Kenwood DD for over a year. Very pleased with it. DAB radio, CD, plug in my iPhone to play the 900 songs stored on it and can plug in memory sticks too.
Supplied and fitted for £190. Looks good and sounds good.

I have an original cd80(?) unit removed from my 04 75

I'd be happy to send this to you as it is just sitting not likely to be used

it's a great sounding unit - however i don't play cd's so i replaced with an mp3 type unit (no disc drive)

p.m me if interested - i'd rather see it used than just sit there

it works with steering controls obv.........well it does on my 54 plate

Paul.

The walnut is a good match. Furthermore you can decide on the unit display colour. I think mine is set to RED1 which is very close to the colour of the display below it and the dash instruments.
