Default ZT-T 180 SE Advice

Hi Guys,

Swapped my ZT 190 for a ZT-T 180SE and very excited for collection on Saturday.

I'm planning to fit the Xtrons unit from my ZT to the ZT-T, it has a Hi line system and I have bought a radio and GPS extension cables. Does the extension cable for the GPS plug into the shark fin? Or what is it for?

I've also ordered a new parking camera and just wandered if anyone had any tips for fitting it to the tourer.

I've read that I will probably need to replace the connectors for the sunroof drains. Anything else I need to be aware of that are tourer specific that I ought to do?

Finally, I've driven automatics sporadically but never owned one. Aside from regular fluid changes anything I need to know about the ZT-T auto and what are the numbers for on the gear selector?

Sorry for so many questions!! Thanks in advanced!!

Default ZT 180 advice

Hi,
I've had a 180 auto saloon for nearly three years now. Done nearly 40K miles in it and total mileage now on nearly 102K. Can't help you with the audio swap queries but so far as the auto box is concerned, I think it's excellent and thoroughly enjoy driving it. People complain that it's slow for a V6 and if left in Drive it can lack a bit of low down grunt. But you ask what the numbers on the gearshift are for, and they lock the box to stop it changing up beyond the numbered lower gears. Lock it to 3rd and there's plenty of lower acceleration for when you need it. Keep us posted with your initial views and let us see some pics. Above all, just enjoy the drive!

Hi Tracker,

Thank you for the reply! That was really handy information and I'm certainly looking forward to the drive. Will put some pics up once I've given it a good clean
