Default Front suspension

I have only recently purchased a Rover 75 CDTI saloon with 52000 miles on the clock.
Although I am generally delighted with it,nevertheless compared to the previous two 75s I have owned I feel that the front suspension is rather "joggerly" on poor road surfaces but fine on the motorway.
Although the car passed its MOT only 1500 miles ago I still asked my local garage to look at it and they have reported that all is ok visually including the springs, shock absorbers, etc.
So the question is-Am I imagining it ? or could, for example the shock absorbers, bushes etc be within tolerances but perhaps not quite as good as they should be? Or should I just shut up and get on with driving this car?
I know that some of you guys will have a view on this or may have had a similar issue so I look forward to your comments.

Welcome to the club,

Suspension noise is a very common topic here and there are many threads on peoples experiences..

Looking through them the 3 most common causes I can see are

A. Drop links on front anti roll bar
B. Wishbone suspension rear bushes
C. anti roll bar bushes
D. Engine lower mount

Good news is none of these are particularly expensive to fix.

Check the drop links first as these are common and easy to replace..

Missed out top strut bearings. And owing to the recent high rate of broken front springs give those a really good look as well. Mine, which snapped last week showed obvious sign of a small crack having been there for some time.

Notably my suspension was the same as yours, noisier on slower roads and when turning lock to lock. but quiet and stable on fast A roads and Motorway. Having just put it all back together having changed the strut top bearings and springs a quick drive around the block it seemed much better; although I've also had to put the 15" wheels on as well, instead of the 17" set due to tyre damage from the broken spring. The 15" wheels being quieter anyway (due to a higher profile tyre). I didn't change the drop links as I couldn't find any play at all in either one. Both top bearings were gunked up and one fell apart when I dis-assembled the strut.
