Default Today, I....

Changed the oil and filter, the air filter, diesel filter and removed the PCV filter (black, incidentally!) to replace it with the Land Rover version which shouldn't need to be replaced or block.

Used my fluid extraction kit for the first time (£18 from the Bay!) and amazed at how easy it made the job. After too many years spent crawling about under various cars, this was a revelation!

Plenums already checked for winter and Jules' leaf guard fitted - just waiting for the grabbing tax man to refund an overpayment and there's a new set of tyres and a trip to Big Russ for a 160 remap next on the list.

Just for anyone else doing the PCV filter - I was worried about removing the fuel lines' little 't' pieces, but if you gently lever up at both sides using long-nosed pliers, they really do ease out very gently.

And, just to make it a really good day, the reset tool worked perfectly!

Thumbs up led interior lights

Cheap and quick little mod, made the interior lights now useful!

Do you think that the stark light suits the ambience of the 75 cabin?

I agree with you on the ambience part but when i need to read something in the dark or grabbing something out the back or the glovebox these are more practical.... Everyone to their own i suppose

I'm still undecided on whether I shoul do the projector lamps that you put in the doors, look cool but pretty pointless: GOBO-ghost-shadow-puddle-lamp-light-Laser-projector-for-ROVER-4TH-GEN.jpg
