Cost of the car £1850. 4 & half years ago

Over 7k spent in parts & upgrades

+ tax, insurance & fuel

About 10k+ - £2.500 a year average over my ownership

None of the above includes my time that HAD to be spent working on it.

Regards

Paul

Funnily I was talking about this at the waterwheel meet last weekend. You can't really run anything new for less than a grand a year - most are much more if you factor depreciation.

I always have a grand a year as a default amount to spend on running a car whatever the age. If I share the mileage over a couple of cars I still hope to spend around a grand max per year.

In the last year I've spent about £800 on the bio (without the wheel upgrade) and about £120 on the daily.

About £2000 in 4 months and it's still a heap.
