Just realised I've never posted any pics of the car that near as makes no difference was the nail in my coffin. Now that Sir Drinxcelot is looking the part Id like to wish all of you the best for 2021 and tell you how grateful I am for all the help you all gave me in this topic the past 4 years hahaha.
Here he is (I have a brand new old-stock driverside floor mat but I only use that when going to meetings and shows) Any other members here that have this Pewter-aubergine combination??

You can say that again Merijn. It's beautiful, and very skilfully photographed if I may say so! Simon

Absolute stunning car you have there! Spent over an hour reading from start to finish and while I feel your pain you had me laughing my @## off! The whiskey bottle bit had me rolling around!! Glad you didn't give up and thanks for the entertainment

Thanks. Yeah, that was the only way to keep it up. A insane amount of humour. I am still happy with it and the way it is looking now is fabulous. Love the colours now. Even though I initially wanted a Dorchester red one, the pewter has grown on me. The aubergine interior helps a lot obviously
