Default Can anybody recommend a good quality washer fluid?

As titled, I'm looking for a washer fluid that won't go horrible and manky, as I want to avoid the 'rotten horse's head' problem, and don't want to have to clean out the associated mank from the bottle.

Somebody recommended Audi's fluid but the Audi dealer is a little way away, I have a couple of good motor factors and Halfords nearer.

Apparently a high level of alcohol in the fluid stops the mankiness.

Any recommendation? Thanks

I use the Lidl Screenwash, Blue Concentrated, (Made in Germany) - it was £4.99 for 5 litres last time - really good stuff!

Ciao.

Could end up a tad expensive to keep the bottle topped up.

There was one on the market with a high level of methylated spirits from the smell of it but I can't remember the name.

I got a 5 litre bottle of Asda stuff. Smells good to me and does the job. It's blue too, but I don't know how much meths (if any) is in it.

I use the Halfords concentrate stuff, washes screen well and doesn’t smear, also on cars i have had it doesn't seem to go off and gloopy like some.

Avoid Carplan stuff as I use that in my work van and its smears and doesn’t clean well.

That Lidl stuff is magic - I first came across it in Austria - where it's a top seller due to it going down to -60 degrees C - I use it year round now - diluted of course in the summer.
