Brian, Thanks for that! The wrench you show is on my list. Of course I already have a set of them but...No 18MM!

The how-to will be a big help as well
Cheers

Ended up spending the past two days detailing and valeting my Dad's Peugeot 3008. Shocker!

Had my first attempt at machine polishing a car. Obviously wouldn't want to ruin my beautiful shiny 75, so my Dad's Peugeot was the perfect test subject!

Got in all (hopefully) the materials to fix the leak on my conservatory. Luckily, my local timber merchants deliver. It's a valley gutter attached between a capped low wall and the conservatory roof. Water has been running down the cracks in the pointing in the wall and has rotted the timber lining to the valley. The capped wall will have to be lowered to get the valley gutter timbers out and replaced, stripping and reinstalling the lead lining in the process (hopefully without damage!). The design is almost as good as the sill on the Rover and has lasted just about the same length of time! Needless to say, there will be many "improvements" to the repaired gutter! Laters! Mike

This describes the fitting of the rear bush in isolation, however the removal method of the M14 bolts with the 18mm A/F heads is pertinent whether replacing the bush, or the whole arm, the main difference being the reassembly method as you will be doing the job on axle stands presumably.

This morning I ventured out (we are only self-isolating here not in quarantine) and bought the required wrenches. The first stop was at a liquidation outlet that has a good selection of tools. I found the only 18mm wrench in the store, a mystery brand combination wrench for the bargain amount of $3.80 (about 2.50 GBP). The second stop was at a notoriously expensive specialty tool store where I also bought the only 18mm wrench in the store. This time a Gear Wrench brand ratcheting swivel head for $36.00cdn (about 23.GBP) OUCH! but I have to have it.
At least I got a bargain 1/2 tank of petrol on the way home and gave the ZT a good run on a beautiful sunny day!

I may even get around to doing the suspension arms tomorrow.

My ratchet spanners are Gear Wrench.......expensive but good quality, and unless abused, will last well, my oldest ones are about 20 years old and still performing beautifully

Old valley gutter stripped out, tomorrow's job is lining the new timbers, waterproofing and fitting the lead lining and damp courses (which it didn't have before!). Happy days not on my 75 😐😥.

Needed to get some fresh air so went out to repaint the outside of the garage. Luckily I had some product as I like to get it painted twice a year as it’s wood. I also found some electrical cleaner so may even contemplate refitting the 75’s sat nav drive tomorrow.

Up early so I’ve polished the Hyundai Ioniq and the Fiat 500s before the sun got too warm, is 9.45 to early for a beer? It’s going to be a hot day in Cumbria.

Cutting the grass is next once I’ve cooled down a bit, the freshly painted garage should be completely dry now so any wayward cuttings won’t stick to it... the outside temp gauge on the 75 is indicating a nice 14 degrees
