Default Will a Freelander 2.5L Engine mount fit 75 2.5L ?

I need to replace the engine mount KKB 101914. I haven't been able to find a source here in Australia but was told the Freelander mount KKB 103360, which is readily available in Australia, is identical. Can someone please confirm this? Many thanks

Can you have a look at one and compare to ours. Is it constructed more heavily to take extra weight or movement, the rubber part that is. Probably find it is the same as other parts are compatible to both vehicles, but with the L prefix at the end of the number.

Thanks for that. I'm waiting to see if I can get genuine item shipped DHL or FEDEX as needed PDQ. But if that fails, will try the Freelander part and let you know the outcome. Thanks again

Hi Pieter.
Yes the Freelander 1 hydro mount will fit, all that is required is one of the threads will need cutting down a little you will notice this once you have removed the old one.

I gave one to Rob (trebor) for his diesel 75 and it fitted great once the thread had been cut down a little.

As above, they do the job and fit with a bit of fettling.
When supply was looking to dry up we were poised with the tools - however it's not been necessary yet, as additional stock came to light.

Not much use if you're in a rush, but we can do some very good postage deals to Australia on the slower services at the moment.

Thanks Arctic. My mechanic has now ordered the part. With the engine out we'll also get to fit that resistor you told me a year or more ago !!! HA! We did get it from RS Components as you suggested. The current work is the finalisation of a complete engine rebuild. New everything including gaskets, belts, radiator, water pump and other ancilliaries. Should be good for another 200,00 kms after this. Thanks again.

Thanks for confirming DMGRS. Much appreciated. We managed to get the Freelander part locally so hope to be back on the road by the end of the week.

Happy days, it's good you could find one locally - are there a lot of Land Rovers over there?

Got plenty of land rovers, range rovers etc here on the west coast of Australia.

Should imagine be the same on the east coast.
Land Rover parts, always good for some rover parts here in Australia.
