Petrol and diesel are priced lower in Germany than here by a considerable amount again. Less than £1 a litre. I think my son told me last night it was equivalent to £0.97p a litre. We are still being robbed by big business even in these trying times. Greedy barstewards.

You will probably find most of the taxes are being used to pay those unable to work at the moment David.........just filled the ZT from almost empty £61 £1.069 for premium diesel at Costco.

Unleaded is 99.9 Pence per litre at the same station.

It's all relative to demand, supply outstrips demand, prices plummet, market forces, but it will be interesting to see if this filters through to the pumps.

The retailers on the forecourt make very little on each sale as opposed to the double taxation levied by HMRC on each sale

It makes sense to fill up all 3 cars when it’s this cheap to buy.
I need something to do at the moment.

With one trip out allowed per day you should have them filled by Thursday.

Yes. The price is what it is, so we will have to pay it. Makes me wonder what the price will be when this lockdown has finished and everyone is on the road again.

Probably climb back up to where it was pre-lockdown.

I feel really sorry for all those multi billionaires in the oil industry. Poor things! Oh No! They aren't are they! There are a lot of empty mineshafts, maybe they should fill them up with oil. Great idea. Put it back in the ground!
