Started the 75 for the first time this month (working from home). Range said zero, forgot I'd forgot to fill up on my way home...
Good job I live near a petrol station. Wonder when I'll need some again.

Sat, looking forward to some rain to "test" the new valley gutter and flashings in the conservatory! You can't beat flashing in the conservatory vicar!

I like that relay idea. All the solar panels I've seen do have instructions stressing the importance of disconnecting before starting. Of course, the first thing I've done on several occasions is to forget to do that!
I thought start up damage was the reason why one of mine wasn't charging until I remembered the cigarette lighter wasn't active with the ignition off.
At night though, is there a reverse drain going on with a solar charger, and if so, is it significant such that it neutralises the benefit of the day charging? If the night -time reverse current drain is significant, then a relay is surely not going to fix that and some kind of diode arrangement would be needed? Alternatively a light activated relay to cut off the device until daylight?

drive it. Was going to use it for work today, but got it out of the garage to do some bits on it and noticed front n/s tyre was a bit low, pumped it up and then rolled it round to find a nail in it.

I'll run it up to the garage tomorrow, be easier to jack up and leave on blocks as being a front tyre on a ZT it's a bit of a faff to have to double swap the tyres to fit the space saver on the front.

Other than a quick wash I got nothing done on my ZT today.
I did get my wife's Kia up to the local repair shop to see if they could find a mysterious intermittent rattle which I haven't been able to locate.
They couldn't find the noise but didn't find any issues either, which should relieve my wife's paranoia.
Now to turn up the volume on the radio.

Tomorrow I paint the last wheel for the ZT

Go on Amazon or Ebay and buy one of the strip type puncture outfits, I use them all the time, 30 seconds and the tyre is mended, no wheel off, no hassle. Get one with the most amount of strips for the money, you can also cut them in half and use just a half. They are so good to have in the boot.
Here's one off Ebay, £6.50 delivered and very handy.

To be used along with your Girling Crimson brake fluid, you've had in stock for a while

Ok as a get you home, I'm not sure they are legal for permanent use, having said that, it's better than a can of that goo which wrecks the tyre

The cords in modern tyres can be too easily damaged by anything that can puncture them. Without removing the tyre you can't check it properly. I've even seen a thorn do irreparable damage to a tyre!
