It's had new plugs, cap & rotor arm, the plugs I removed were goosed, so much for the theory of being entombed inside the engine, as some will have you believe making them last forever if the car isn't run The air cleaner was washed and oiled, and a new set of wiper blades fitted. I'm thinking about putting some petrol in, as it's a little hesitant to start on gas when stone cold. When it's done, and I'm happy with it, I'll be scrapping Chris's 75, so I can make a decent one from that and mine. |

It will be good to have a couple more 1800's back in service, rather than the stinky old ZT tractor. As the tip has reopened, I can make a start on garage clearance again too Last edited by marinabrian; 22nd May 2020 at 21:13.. |

took our old dyson dc02 to bits due to lack of suck ..
Found motor mount snapped , part no longer available anyway , and a bit complicated to remake so super glued together, 3d printed a simpler addon support to aradilte on and we will see . Looks like the rubber mount was actually too big and put unnecessary strain on this plastic part , but still has lasted 20 years or so . So a little trim of the rubber mount and its a far better fit . found a large paper clip jammed in the rewinder too . back to painting the lower front door step as well .. Looks like will be going back to work on 1st june , for a rest Haven't manged to do a thing on any of the Zeds during the lockdown C.

Been measuring up for timber to make some trellis for my non-standard length fencing. Every job that I have done during lockdown has required hours of internet searches to get the correct sizes of materials, available in the correct numbers, from local suppliers who will deliver or allow collections! "She" (WMBO) thinks that I'm just being awkward to put the jobs off! I know that you can buy trellis "off the peg" but it won't fit my panels! (which aren't panels but hand built to fit the gap between oversize posts!). Arrrrrrgh!

Cleaned the engine on the trike before refitting, excuse the state of the garage, that is next on the ‘to do’ list.
