Hi Cliff.
A clean undertray can and will give an indication of any oil or other leaks when you next take it off, so it is doing a practical service as well

I had my undertray off yesterday and thought about cleaning it...for a moment.
My new oil filter is nice and shiny though!

Well, you obviously managed to get it into the dishwasher OK! Did you use "her" Pledge polish on it too?
