Default Exhaust cam caps

I am pleased to say that my idea for using a spreader clamp to fit these little bleeders worked a treat. I bought a Draper F clamp from Toolstation for £11.57. It measures 500mm long with a 120mm throat. I will do a little "how to" once I have completed the rebuild. It is fighting me at every stage so I have decided to have a couple of days off to give me renewed vigour to complete it. Forgot to put the dipstick back on today so had to remove the right hand idler wheel and the auxiliary belt but managed it without having to remove the engine mount again, used a tip on here to do it that is why this is such a useful place. After all I have to work outside and it is very hot with the sun beating down! Exhaust manifolds are next to be re-fitted!

I did the same and left the dipstick tube off. Not very happy when I found it in the pile with the plastic covers. I actually managed to winkle it into place without removing the idler or pulleys but installing it's mounting bolt beat me. After 1/2 hour of trying I gave up and pulled things apart for access.
