Default Thule Bars Wind Noise

After fitting my Thule bars I noticed the extra wind noise (No! It wasn't me!) and found this handy video on Youtube.

Hope it helps somebody else.

Kármán vortex sheet prevention eh?

I would take them off when you're not using them personally

My roof bars live in the garage, and are only fitted when required.....

I remember borrowing a ladder off my father in law years ago, I was stopping on a narrow street there so didn't want to mess around with the roof bars when I got there so put them on at home. The 50 mile round trip with the wind noise drove me mad, I got home and ordered a ladder for myself so I didn't have to do it again! The Christmas tree is always big enough to stop the wind noise issue, as was the roof box.

More Karmen Ghia really! 😂 Yup. They won't be staying on as they are not pretty enough! They only take 5 minutes once set up.

..... but it's still cheaper than paying silly money for delivery on the odd items that it will be used for!
