I'm slowly sipping my way through a bottle of Californian Malbec - whilst Angela has demolished a full bottle of some pale, sparkling pink, rosé concoction. She's gone a bit red in the face
I shall indulge in a couple of large Chivas Regal later,I shall probably wake up Boxing morning still in the Armchair.

Glad I do not have to see the Fat nurse this week as I must be slightly obese again

Here you are Ian, have you got room for one?

What is it with Christmas telly these days, used to be great, good films etc. I haven't seen anything that's made me say "I want to watch that".

Well I’m pleased that’s all over, had an awful day. Food was lovely but I just wasn’t interested, had a bit but not loads. Was supposed to have a good drink & stay the night but I didn’t touch a drop & escaped at 7 o’clock. I’ll have a quick cheeky cider & I think I’ll just go to bed.
I HATE CHRISTMAS

Think I boobed the other day. Cutting my fingernails had a scraggy bit on the thumbnail, stupidly pulled it, came off along with a bit of skin under it. End of my thumb is now as hot as hell and pain is eyewatering if I bump it. Stuck an elastoplast with liberal amounts of antiseptic cream on it.

It's never easy Colin but I'm sure your dad wouldn't want you to feel miserable at Xmas. The first Xmas without a loved one is always the hardest,I know as I have been there. If you want a chat you know where I am.

Agree with that Richard, as I get older Christmas has become more of a time to remember family and friends that are no longer with us.

I stood in the garden last night looking up at the stars with a glass raised.
