Been a busy, busy day.
Got the washing done and out onto the line. Got both cars washed. Managed to get some gardening done. Baked a loaf. Cooked fish n chips for dinner. Rounding off the day with a large single malt.

Evening all, been up to Lincolnshire today to scatter Debs ashes, a difficult day to say the least, she was scattered in the same place that her Dad was laid to rest (amongst the flowers at the crematorium) As that was her final wish.
A nice turn out from the family and a couple of friends from here made things a little easier, it would have been 9 years today since we first met, it is also 34 years today since my Dad passed away. The no5 tends to haunt me...

Once the custom made part in the USA gets back to your hospital, you will the op in April. We will be all rooting for your operation and recovery, please keep us updated. In regards to your sense of taste, the neurosurgeon is the one who can give you a definitive answer, as every head injury is different. Let’s hope that time is the healer and it returns and because of that, he might not commit to an answer, but do ask. Interestingly, when I saw the vascular surgeon in the UK in December about the aneurysm graft, he said the NHS ones were “one size fits all” whereas the custom made ones - measured to fit, had to made in the USA. It must be encouraging for you to know you will get the best. Last edited by Gate Keeper; 6th March 2022 at 05:00.. |

Morning everyone.
Another bright start to the day. I’m off to do a gin distillery tour today at the the English Spirit Company. I did post it up on the events page but no one barring two were interested. And they cancelled.

Evening all, had a day of doing house chores, fired up the new carpet cleaner, and thankfully Vax have now seen sense and made a waste water container that you can actually open up and wash out (Perfect for us doggie owners)
Bedding changed and washed, and the doggie blankets done as well, dinner cooking and I have a cold Guinness. Still have both cars to clean inside and out though
