Gryphon, Garry Sad News
No easy way to announce this so here goes.
Jayne sent me the following text at 7:30 this evening. Sat the 16th Feb 2008 Garry Passed away very peacfully with Zac and myself by his bedside this morning... Sorry to tell you by text but as you can imagine I hurt so much at the moment, but at least its not Garry hurting anymore... Can you tell all you wonderful people on the forum, send my love to each and everyone including you JayneXX We were happy to know that Garry made it to the alter but although this is expected I am sure it is devestating for his new bride Jayne. I have only sent a short text back to Jayne at the moment, expressing my sorrow and telling her not to be a stranger. I feel this is a time for the family to reflect on their time together in private. Perhaps in the future she will visit our home (hope so) and take some comfort that Garry touched us all in the short time we knew him and read the no doubt many replies this post will generate. Hopefully the PM's between the mods and myself re Garrys membership details can now be acted upon, but that is for another time to discuss. For now I shall retire and think of Mr & Mrs Warner Dave Stocks... Last edited by stocktake; 16th February 2008 at 22:06.. |

I am rather new to the club, but I followed Garrys posts with interest and it was wonderful to hear about his recent marriage to Jayne. My heart goes out to Jayne and Garrys friends and family.
