Default another key problem

Hello all,

I have stupidly left our keys to rot and they have badly fallen apart including thee of four switches on the two PCB's. Where can I get a new PCB from, does it need coding like the transponder or can I just whack a board in when I order a new case from the bay.

Thank you all and have a nice day.

Or buy some new buttons and solder them in place. Otherwise they will have to be reprogrammed.

Ive just replaced one of the micro switches on s. daughters diesel key pcb-they come off quite easily and its a simple but fiddly soldering job.Take the battery out first though to avoid shorting anything if you do decide go down this route (I had an old key for the swap over).

And for those of you who have never seen these little rascals this is just for you ...

This would probably be your best bet.

But if you do need to get replacement remotes, I will be heading over to Brighton at some point over the next three weeks or so, and I should be able to program the remote for you, if you need it doing.
PM me if you want me to do this for you
Chris

You could pop them in the post to me, and I'll refurbish them for you, the PCB's that is

You can still use the car without the remote boards, as the immobilisation is handled by the transponder in the key back

All it means is the car will have to be manually locked and unlocked with the key..

Just drop me a PM when you're ready, and we'll sort out the details then

Brian
