Default Headlining fabric

Has anyone come across a perfect or very close match to the original ZT headlining?

Mine is sagging and will need replacing soon

unfortunately no, and i've tried a lot of companies

In the end I did the Zr with fabric from Amazon, last year.

And now waiting for better weather before tackling the ZT with the roll of the same . its just a light grey .

Keep a eye on the Project Nigel Youtube Channel, I know he breaks Rovers and MG's so you might find some there.

I think he has a Parts Page on Facebook with the Project Nigel being the name.

I'm sure there was a (fairly) recent thread that recommended a Range Rover colour.

I used Martrim material to cover my Zircon Blue project car. Colour was as near perfect as you could get after checking several other samples.

I’ve still got some in the workshop, enough to do a full roof

Martrim Oatmeal was a perfect match for my Rover 25, in which I refurbed the headlining last summer. I posted something about the job on another forum:

Martrim just happen to be about 20 miles south of me down the M6. A few years ago my nephew in Switzerland was doing a (maiden) refurbish of an early series Land Rover he'd had given to him by relations in Cornwall and asked me to source a material for the headlining - different sort of job to our R75's/ZT's but it was a great match. Did a fine job of the rebuild and then shipped the LR and all their personal possessions into a container when he decided to up sticks to Western Australia 6 or so years back; only recently sold on the LR (got a very decent price for it too).
