This is classic crank or cam position faliure symptoms, some makes of car suffer with this more than others but the sensor resistance goes up as the heat gets to it and when you come to do a hot or even warm start the resistance in the sensor is to high. A soon as the car cools down it will start instantly.
Some GM cars it is recomended you keep a spare in the glovebox. I used to have a Saab, in the 4 years I owned it I fitted two sensors and the new owner rung me a couple of weeks after buying it to say he had used the spare in the glovebox and where to get a another. |
