Get a rover 25 diesel. The L series is a great engine, and very frugal and can shift when SDI injectors are added.

My 19yr old son really wanted an MG but the silly insurance costs prevented him (£3500 for a ZR, £5000 for a ZT and somewhere in between for a ZS)...so he is now on his 2nd Mini instead. I'll follow your progress with interest. Good luck. |
