Default Coolant flow diagram

I'm trying to understand the coolant flow route and came across this which may help owners. Anybody know where it came from and can identify the components?

Looking at the diagram - It flows something like this...

Out of radiator...
1 oil cooler
2 Pump
3 thermostat
4 through engine
5 back out from top of engine, to top of rad

The alternative route when stat is closed is...

1. output from top of engine
2. through FBH (if fitted)
3. through heater matrix
4. to pump
5 through engine

Basically the flow is continuous around the engine, heater matrix, FBH, pump and past the thermostat at all times. If and when the thermostat opens, it allows a bypass via the radiator and oil cooler when it gets hot enough.

Obviously that is not quite correct, so I would welcome any corrections.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

I must have the abridged version...

Basically its:

Into the header tank
out of the radiator
onto the road

er..that's about it.

I believe the original source is the copyrighted CD that dare not speak its name. I think the badly rendered heading is characteristic. Basically, there are no other drawings available anywhere else.

Does anybody know where the instrument panel engine temperature gauge sender is located on the diagram and also the diagnostics source of temperature data if different as it probably is, one being electrical the other being electronic.

All three temperature sensor sources are one and the same unit, where it is located, I don't yet know.

The coolant temperature sensor on the diesel is screwed into the head, at the front between two inlet ports (Haynes - it makes sense to have one).

That's wierd, it looks as if two flows converge on the, I think the thermostat, from different directions that can't be right surely
