Chrome skull cap mirror covers fitted.
Carpet around the heater outlets in the front footwells. Torpedo badges fitted to the front doors. Tweeters fitted to the rear door cards. Now a sharper sound from symphony unit. Many thanks to Superchip for all his help.

Last weekend my bonnet cable broke, so today, having bought a new cable and obtained the how-to-open-the-bonnet-when-the-cable-pull-handle-isn't-working instructions from a moderator on here (thank you), I fixed it. Fiddly getting the bonnet open, but got there eventually.
And actually the cable hadn't broken but the end bit had popped out of the cable splitter which I half expected to be the case because I know is prone to happen. Anyway, all fixed now, with the modification done as advised here: http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=4692 so hopefully won't happen again. While I was at it I thought I would fit the tyre protector thingys that fit under the front coil springs. I had bought them when I ordered the spare cable. Took the wheel off only to find that my car already has them fitted! |

Took The Flying Banana to the MGOC meet at Hever Castle in Kent. About 150 cars here. Have entered Banana in The Pride of Ownership.

We took a family trip to Hever yesterday, didn't know the MG meet was on until i got in the car park. I caught a glimpse of the banana as we arrived but the kids kept me busy all day so didn't get a chance to come over.

Was a very nice day, luckily not too hot for me (although I have gone a little pink) had a wander around the castle. It's got a lot more on display than the last time we visited about 10 years ago. Then took the kids so see the jousting, although slightly spoilt by rude people who squeezed infront of us then put their blanket down over my foot! The kids enjoyed it and it was certainly better for them than another day indoors.
From what I saw there certainly seemed to be a big turn-out for the MG meet, shame I didn't get a better look, the banana certainly looked clean though |
