Looks like an easy enough repair from the photos, can't see any actual dents? A flat down and paint looks like it would sort it.

I'm sure you will get it sorted, no excuses for the clown that broke the mirror housing. But as Steve has mentioned it's an easy enough repair

That is something I don't understand no serious dents, anyway have got in contact with insurance.

had a similar thing happen to a car of mine, never found the culprit. Mine was in a communal carpark as well.

What colour are the bin wagons round your way?
A lot of them seem to be green these days, especially the recycling ones.

Were the bins out on the street you were parked in?

I think the whole doors are dented in which is why thee doesn't look like there's any small ones. The passenger handle is definately pushed in judging by the first pic
