Thanks ive spoke to them they seem ok and can do the job for a fair price but they are almost 200 miles away, i really want someone closer so i can visit them if there is any probs. i.e "you need 2 new heads" do you know what i mean. . . .

there is no oil water mix, just loss of water and exhaust gas in the water.

I had my 1.8 Hg done by this chap, he is honest and drives a 75.

Try Russell at MG Rover Solutions 07515 539894. He is a mobile mechanic based near Sevenoaks. He sorted my KV6 head gaskets

(cam shaft problem, not HGF by the way).

Hi , Very close to you in Eltham is Denis Motors (loves Rovers)
25a Westmount Road,SE9. He has a T4 and all tools needed.

i used to use yannis motors but they sold up .i now use andy at peacocks in peckham . i will have a word with him and see how much he will charge for labour only tomorrow .he is a good mechanic .

thanks i drive up that road at least twice a week and have not seen any sign of a garage/workshop are you sure??

Yeap, its down a side road in garages to the rear of 23/25 Westmount Road. I never know about it until recommended by a couple of locals.
