Cool For all dog owners everywhere.

My Flatulent Friend By Sid Oates

Quietly laid in his chair, with his legs in the air
My springer quiescently snuggles
He’s dreaming of food, either boiled, poached or stewed
And wading through deep muddy puddles
Then his buttock bassoon, played poignant tune
As he blew off an adenoid wrecker
This lugubrious note brought a lump to my throat
And removed the catarrh from my pecker
It was easy to tell, by the horrible smell
That our Bailey had let off a beauty
A malodourous stink, like a blocked kitchen sink
Or his rear when he’d just done its duty
His flatulent contortion was of epic proportion
And was gruesome, beyond human thinking
He just didn’t care that he’d caused me to swear
As he lay unconcerned, quietly stinking
Our beautiful springer had dropped a humdinger
Unconcerned he had slipped out a snorter
Though I squirted air spray, it would not go away
In fact, it lasted an hour and a quarter
I know my old friend doesn’t mean to offend
But his wind make you physically ill
Like a double O spy, he’s a dangerous guy
‘Cos this boy has a licence to kill.
